DOWN DOWN DEEPER AND DOWN

Sorry for the lack of posting and baked goods. I've not been feeling myself, basically I've got a trapped nerve in my back which has held me hostage to the sofa for a few days and has made me feel rather useless. So I have very much been feeling sorry for myself, but I am on the mend and yesterday made a little bit of France, it felt very French anyway and that's enough to make me smile.
A peach upside down cake with a raspberry and blueberry sponge, mix the peaches with some dark brown sugar which will turn into a whole load of sugary, syrupy goodness, place in the bottom of the baking tin then put the sponge mixture on top and TA DAH!!!


It was absolutely scrumptious, I also used wholemeal flour and about half the amount of sugar than I usually do.
