CHEZ LULU

When in Avignon, dine here. No umming or ahhing, it's typically French in vision; steel chairs rocking on a cobbled street; a vivid red exterior with italic bold text telling you of it's name "CHEZ LULU"; family run.
There was no time for food photography to oggle at sadly, the burger I ate was consumed far to quickly. A thick huge burger with crispy slightly salty bacon, a beautifully purple and orange coloured coleslaw along with some good strong French cheese, the perfect amount of lettuce on a mouth wateringly good dusty white bread role, with a lovely little pot of French fries and a glass of the local Rosé to wash it down with.

Other than the food here, I was most impressed with the owners annoyance towards an Italian family who insisted on speaking English to her, to which she gave a response in French every time.
